With the Easy Rider option we have experienced riders who can all speak a little English to ensure that you can talk with them about when and where you want to stop to enjoy a view or take a picture and that they can tell you everything you need to know on the way.

Our self drive option is for those with experience with motorbikes and an International Drivers Permit. The bike included with the tour is the semi automatic Honda Wave but we have the option to upgrade to the 150cc manual bikes, which would allow you to go with 2 people on the same bike.

We offer 3 options for the tour. 2 day tour, 3 day tour and 4 day tour so that there is a suitable option depending on the time you have. Below you can see the routes, stops, and highlights of each tour.

DAY 1:
HA GIANG CITY - QUAN BA - YEN MINH - MEO VAC - MA PI LENG PASS - DONG VAN

Starting at 7:30 or 8:00 am, your guide will pick you up from your hotel or hostel. You'll begin your journey by riding motorbikes towards Bac Sum Pass.

Ascending to the Heaven Gate, you'll have the opportunity to admire the Twin Mountains and the panoramic view of Tam Son town. After taking in the sights, you'll continue your motorbike adventure, heading towards the peak of Ma Pi Leng Pass. This pass offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and expansive valleys. Ma Pi Leng Pass may not be lengthy, but it's renowned as one of the most treacherous passes in the northern border mountain region, often referred to as the "King" of Vietnam's passes.

Ma Pi Leng Pass is recognized as a unique regional treasure due to its distinctive landscape and geomorphology. The pass's peak area is celebrated as one of Vietnam's most stunning viewpoints, offering a panoramic perspective of the scenery. The Nho Que River valley alongside the pass is equally remarkable, displaying unique tectonic formations. The landscape within Ma Pi Leng Pass exudes a sense of majestic and untamed beauty, with countless gray mountains stretching to the north and northeast. Next to the road lies a steep abyss, while below flows the refreshing Nho Que River.

For the night, you'll stay at a hotel in Dong Van, continuing your journey through this captivating region.

DAY 2:
DONG VAN - H’MONG KING PALACE - SUNG LA - LUNG TAM VILLAGE - QUAN BA - HA GIANG

At 8:00 am, following a hearty breakfast, it's time to check out of your hotel and prepare to embark on the next leg of your journey. You'll hop onto your motorbike or into a jeep for your next adventure. Today, you'll explore the palace of the Tay ethnic group, a family of significant prominence during the period of French colonial rule. This palace is a fascinating architectural gem, renowned for its blend of European and Chinese architectural styles, making it an intriguing stop for those with an architectural interest.

Afterward, your journey takes you to a nearby linen weaving village, where the local Tay people handcraft their traditional clothing from linen materials. Here, you'll have the unique opportunity to witness the traditional dyeing process, as the locals utilize natural materials such as roots, leaves, and vegetables to create vibrant and intricate patterns on their fabrics.

As the day unfolds, you'll gradually make your way back to Ha Giang city, savoring the scenic beauty of the region along the route. Your adventurous day will come to an end at approximately 5:00 - 6:00 pm in Ha Giang city, where we will ensure you have a smooth drop-off transfer to Ha Giang bus station. From there, you can catch a bus back to Hanoi, concluding your memorable journey through this captivating region.

DAY 1:
HA GIANG - BAC SUM PASS -HEAVEN GATE - TWIN MOUNTAINS - LUNG KHUY CAVE -LUNG TAM WEAVING VILLAGE- DU GIA VILLAGE 120KM

"We commence our journey towards Bac Sum Pass, then ascend the Heaven Gate to savor panoramic views of the twin mountains and Tam Son town. Our next stop is Tam Son Town, where we indulge in a delightful lunch before embarking on an expedition to Lung Khuy Cave. Discovered in 2015, this cave was opened for exploration in January 2016, revealing a mesmerizing world adorned with thousands of glistening stalagmites and stalactites. A brief 2km walk will lead you to this natural wonder, and the path is adorned with breathtaking landscapes that will captivate your senses.

After our cave adventure, we'll embark on a short hike back to our vehicles, allowing you to catch your breath before resuming our journey. Our next destination is Lung Tam Village, also known as the Lung Tam Linen Weaving Village, where the Hmong people showcase their exceptional craftsmanship by creating handmade clothing, bags, and other items using linen.

To conclude the day, we'll visit and stay at the homestays in Du Gia Village. Here, we'll have dinner with the Tay ethnic group, providing a unique opportunity to immerse ourselves in their culture and traditions."

DAY 2:
DU GIA - LUNG HO VILLAGE -MAU DUE VILLAGE - MEOVACTOWN - MA PI LENG PASS -DONG VAN TOWN 110KM

Starting our day with breakfast at 7:00 am, we'll then embark on a journey to explore even more remote villages, gaining insight into the way of life in these distant corners of Vietnam. Our route will take us through the picturesque villages of Lung Ho, Mau Due, and Meo Vac, where we'll pause for a satisfying lunch in Meo Vac town.

Following lunch, our adventure continues as we drive towards Dong Van town. Along the way, we'll take a trek to appreciate the stunning landscapes and capture memorable photos of the Ma Pi Leng Pass, renowned as one of the four most beautiful mountain passes in Vietnam.

As the day winds down, we'll reach Dong Van town, where we'll enjoy a hearty dinner and spend the night in a comfortable 2-star hotel

DAY 3:
DONG VAN TOWN - LUNG TAO MOUNTAIN - H’MONG KING PALACE -THAM MA PASS -YEN MINH TOWN - QUAN BA TOWN - HA GIANG CITY 135 KM

Following breakfast at 8:00 am, our next destination is the Vuong Family's residence, often referred to as the 'Hmong King's Palace.' From there, we'll continue our journey towards Yen Minh Town and Quan Ba Town, making several scenic stops along the way to capture the breathtaking landscapes through our lenses.

Afterward, we'll enjoy a delightful lunch in Quan Ba Town before commencing our return journey to Ha Giang city. The tour will conclude around 4:00 - 5:00 pm, and we'll arrange your drop-off transfer to Ha Giang bus station, where you can catch a bus back to Hanoi

We'll start the day with breakfast at 7:30 am, followed by a scenic drive to Quan Ba district, known for its stunning Heaven Gate. As we traverse the undulating terrain, ranging from 700m to 1,300m in altitude, you'll be captivated by the extraordinary mountain landscapes and terraced rice fields. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to marvel at the breathtaking views of the renowned 'Happy Road' below

DAY 2:
DONG VAN TREKKING AROUND THIEN HUONG VILLAGE - TREKKING SKY PATH
- SLEEP IN MEO VAC TOWN. 70KM

"Following breakfast, we'll embark on a trekking adventure around Thien Huong village, an ancient village located just 30 minutes from Dong Van town. Here, you'll encounter traditional earthen houses with yin and yang roofs, creating a charming and timeless atmosphere. The village is adorned with ancient banyan trees that have stood for hundreds of years.

Thien Huong village is predominantly inhabited by the Tay and Hmong ethnic groups, who earn their livelihood through farming and the production of moonshine. It's a serene and welcoming place to explore, offering insight into the local way of life.

Next, we'll journey along the Sky Path, a route that leads to one of the most awe-inspiring landscapes in Dong Van. You'll experience a thrilling motorbike ride on a narrow and steep road, with the mountains on one side and a cliff on the other. This is a paradise for adventure enthusiasts. Along the way, we'll make stops to capture the stunning vistas of the Ma Pi Leng Pass, renowned as one of the four most beautiful mountain passes in Vietnam. Our day will conclude as we reach Meo Vac town, where we'll rest for the night."

DAY 3:
MEO VAC - M CORNER PASS - MAU DUE VILLAGE - LUNG HO VILLAGE - DU GIA WATERFALL( 70 KM ) 

"Starting our day with breakfast at 8:00 am, we'll then venture further into the remote villages, offering a glimpse into the lives of people in the secluded regions of Vietnam. Our journey will take us through the picturesque villages of Lung Ho, Mau Due, and Du Gia Waterfall, where we'll pause to admire the natural beauty.

As the day progresses, we'll have the unique opportunity to stay in a homestay with the Tay ethnic group, immersing ourselves in their culture and traditions."

DAY 4:
DU GIA VILLAGE - LUNG TAM VILLAGE - LUNG KHUY CAVE - HA GIANG CITY 110KM
